  • Torey Pudwill & Daewon Song’s Thank You Skateboards Shuts Down: Sources

    Credit: The Nine Club; ShreddER

Thank You Skateboards has allegedly wrapped things up, according to multiple sources close to the scene.

The brand’s final social media activity goes back to August 20, 2025, when they shared their King Of The Hill collaboration. After that point, things went quiet and the slowdown became hard to ignore. The strange part is that the brand was still putting out footage earlier on. They had guest boards like the Cairo Foster release and fresh faces joining the team.Riders such as Gustavo Ribeiro and Danny Hamaguchi remained active and helped keep attention on the brand. However, neither currently lists Thank You Skateboards on their bios.Even so, skateboarders noticed that Daewon Song had been missing. His last appearance on their social feed was on March 7, 2025. After that date he no longer showed up with the crew.According to a source who spoke with ShreddER, Song was reportedly no longer involved with the brand, leaving many to assume Torey Pudwill was handling most of the activity on his own.As the brand slowed down, more signs began to surface.Pro skateboarder David Reyes decided to leave and link up with Jamie Thomas and the Zero crew. People familiar with the situation said he stepped away because they believed the company might be winding down.Around the same time, Pudwill was seen riding blank boards and he stopped tagging the brand online, which strengthened the feeling among skaters and insiders that something had changed behind the scenes. As previously reported, Song recently appeared on Crail Couch with the Girl and Chocolate crew. The episode brought him back onto fans’ radar after the show’s long break from producing episodes. Many skaters began guessing that he might end up with Girl or Chocolate, since he is currently a free agent and appears open to whatever comes next.Song also no longer lists Thank You Skateboards on his bio, which suggests he may have already moved on without an official hard post announcement.Skateboard component salesThank You Skateboards had a strong place in the culture, and the idea of Pudwill and Song teaming up meant a lot to skaters. With the brand reportedly closing, people are hoping that Pudwill finds a new place to ride for, possibly starts something fresh or redbrand Thank You.Everyone is also watching to see if Song eventually joins the Crailtap family. No matter how things play out, both pro skaters already stamped their names in the game, and the community is still rocking with them wherever they go next.

  • FTP x Reebok Skate Shoes Coming Soon That Reveal a Secret F*ck The Population Design as You Shred

    @Instagram.com/ftpleaks

FTP is really moving in with this skate thing for real.

They already had everybody watching back in 2022 when they dropped that “NOT A SKATE VIDEO.” That whole thing felt like some raw Baker type project, nothing clean or polished, just clips straight from the street.Crazy part is Zack himself doesn’t even skate but somehow FTP ended up with one of the hardest names in the game when Antwuan Dixon got down with them. The second Dixon was on board the whole scene had to pay attention. Now FTP linking up with Reebok for some skate shoes and they’re not just doing a regular sneaker drop. These got layers built in. When you skate them the first look breaks down and another FTP design starts showing through. It is like the shoes get louder the more you actually put them to use. That makes sense too because skaters never keep their shoes clean. Once you put in the work, they look better beat up, and FTP already lives in that attitude of not caring how it looks as long as it is real.Zack always been on that street mentality with FTP with no pretending, and just doing whatever feels right. So having Dixon on the skate side feels organic.Dixon has always been one of those dudes everybody respected on a board, so making him part of the brand makes it feel more official.Once these hit the streets, everybody’s going to want to see if they really hold up. FTP heads will cop them quick no question. But if the shoe feels good to skate and that second layer design comes through the way they say it will, then FTP and Reebok might end up with one of the hardest skate collabs in a minute.

He’s got that classic Powell-Peralta feel – raw talent, a love for skating that’s obvious in every clip, and a style that just looks good on a board. His presence in the streets and on video parts has kept people watching, and this latest step just cements what many already knew was coming. The upcoming Fallen Footwear video part from Hiett is definitely something to look forward to.Given what he’s put out in the past, there’s no doubt it’s going to be a gnarly watch. In the meantime, his pro model deck is already available, so anyone hyped on his skating can go snag one and show some support.Skateboarding has a way of recognizing real talent, and Powell-Peralta making Hiett pro is just another example of that. He’s got the skill, the attitude, and the respect of the skate community. • Pro Skateboarder Kyonosuke Yamashita Leaves Lakai to Put Asics in the Streets

    Credit: Erased; Asics

Kyonosuke Yamashita on  AsicsKyonosuke Yamashita just switched it up heavy. He’s no longer rocking with Lakai and is now officially rolling with Asics Skateboarding.

That move right there is straight power since Asics is from his own country and it feels like he’s putting on for Japan in a big way.The Lakai spot didn’t stay empty for long though. Chris Joslin slid right in and now he’s carrying that torch. Anybody who’s seen Joslin skate knows he goes all out every time, so Lakai stacking him on the roster makes sense. Still, Yamashita leaving leaves a mark because he’s been one of the illest names to represent the team out of Asia. For Asics, they made sure the whole world knew what time it was. They dropped that “A Guided Tour” full length on Thrasher to stamp their name in skateboarding culture. That wasn’t just some throwaway clip either. It was a full project showing they’re not playing around and they’re here to grow in the skate world with skaters who actually matter.Yamashita making this move is deeper than just a  shoe deal. It’s like he’s tying himself closer to his roots while putting himself in position to go global at the same time.Skateboarding never stops switching up and this just shows how worldwide it really is now. Yamashita with Asics feels like the start of something bigger, like Japan really about to step louder into the game.

The two-time Olympic medalist has officially graduated from high school, and her celebration post quickly caught the attention of fans everywhere.

It’s not every day you hear about a teenager balancing global competitions with school deadlines, but Rayssa has been doing exactly that.

Her graduation shows she’s been handling both her career and her own growth at the same time with no excuses.

On social media, Rayssa shared an emotional message that gave people a peek into how meaningful this moment is for her.

She thanked her parents for supporting her from the beginning and for always reminding her to believe in herself. She also mentioned “Titati,” showing how important the people closest to her have been throughout this stage of her life.

Rayssa didn’t forget to appreciate her teachers either.

She wrote about the lessons they shared inside and outside the classroom and how they became more than instructors as the years went by.

The affection in her words made it clear that these connections shaped her experience in a special way.

She also shouted out Aunt Cláudia, Alana, and Leandro for always coming through and giving her chances that meant a lot to her.

The 17-year-old explained how grateful she was for the trust they placed in her, especially when she was chosen to be the class speaker.

I want to thank my dad and mom for teaching me to believe in myself, for being by my side, and for encouraging me like no one else. Without you, none of this would be possible. Titati, thank you for every scolding and for helping me every single second!

To the teachers, a huge thank-you for every lesson, both inside and outside the classroom. You were like guides, mentors, and, beyond that, we became friends throughout this entire journey.

A special thank-you to Aunt Cláudia, Alana, and Leandro. Thank you for giving me this incredible opportunity, for every detail and every act of kindness. Thank you for trusting me to be the class speaker—it was all so unique. I love your family; may God continue to bless and protect each one of you. A heartfelt thank-you; you were my second home!

To my friends, we’ve completed another cycle together. I’m so happy to have shared this school phase with you; now, the best is yet to come. I love each one of you; our friendship made our routine so much lighter!
