Castle Rock Police Department Hosts “Skate & Deploy” to Build Trust w/ Skateboarding Community

The Castle Rock Police Department is inviting skaters, families, and community members to come together for another round of Skate and Deploy at Metzler Ranch Community Park. The event brings officers and the skateboarding community closer by spending time at the park, sharing ideas, and encouraging safe and respectful use of the space. It also gives young people a chance to ask questions, talk about what matters to them, and learn about safety and park etiquette in a relaxed setting.The gathering will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the skate park at 4175 Trail Boss Drive. Along with skating, the evening will feature live music from Castle Rock Music and free frozen treats from the CRPD Frosty Five O treat trailer.For CRPD, Skate and Deploy is about more than showing up. It is about listening, connecting, and being part of a community that values both recreation and safety.
