From the very first time we saw Ginwoo skate, it was obvious he was built different. Nearly five years ago, as a young skater coming out of Japan, he already had a bag of tricks that felt way ahead of his time. The control, creativity, and consistency he showed at such a young age immediately turned heads and made it clear this wasn’t just another talented kid—this was someone special. When Ginwoo made his first trip to the U.S. and stepped into The Berrics, he wasted no time proving it. In just a few hours, he rattled off enough tricks to fill multiple video parts, including moves that many of us had never seen done before. It wasn’t about forcing anything—everything came naturally, effortless, and precise. From that moment on, his future in skateboarding felt inevitable.Fast forward to today, and that early promise has fully turned into reality. Ginwoo is now an Olympian, an SLS Champion, and has officially turned Pro for JART Skateboards, celebrating the moment with a brand-new video part. Each milestone represents years of hard work, progression, and staying true to his style.Watching Ginwoo grow from a young prodigy into one of the most exciting skateboarders in the world has been incredible. We’re proud to see everything he’s earned, and even more excited to see where he takes it next. This is only the beginning.
